Wesley Mission Queensland - John Wesley Gardens Aged Care Community is an innovative aged care community that places the resident at its heart. It offers spacious single, double and superior suites complete with ensuites.  All rooms have been designed with privacy, comfort and relaxation in mind and are finished with quality fittings and fixtures.  Each suite includes a bed and bedside table, built-in wardrobe, armchair, shelving and picture rails together with features such as air conditioning, a flat screen TV, Wi-Fi and phone connections and large picture-view windows (most with garden outlooks).  Architecturally designed surrounds and lush outdoor gardens spaces can also be enjoyed by residents and their visitors alike.

Wesley Mission Queensland - John Wesley Gardens Aged Care Community provides care that is responsive and flexible, tailored to each resident’s individual needs. All residents have convenient and timely access to services such as podiatry, physiotherapy, dietetics, occupational therapy and speech pathology through Wesley Mission Queensland’s own specialised aged care health professionals. This streamlined approach to care allows specialists to easily and confidentially communicate with nursing staff and tailor support to the individual needs of all residents.

Wesley Mission Queensland understands how important it is to know each resident as an individual and provide them with choice and flexibility. Each day staff look for meaningful ways to provide opportunities for varied social events that encourage the use of old talents and the learning of new ones to create a home where residents feel safe and comfortable. By working alongside them, staff can also help residents to maintain existing connections with family and friends and stay active and social in their community.

Residents will have access to the conveniently located community amenities in Geebung including a supermarket, cafe, Seventh Brigade and Marchant parks, Westfield Chermside, and public transport.

Wesley Mission Queensland - John Wesley Gardens Aged Care Community opened in October 2017.
