Finding a place in aged care for a loved one can be a stressful and complex task and an enormous responsibility for families. With Australia's ageing population ever increasing, more and more people will be faced with this daunting undertaking.

There are over 3 million Australian’s who are aged 65 years or older, which represents 14% of the total population. It has been predicted that by 2050, almost 20% of Australians will be over the age of 70 while the number of people aged over 85 will quadruple.

Aged Care Online has introduced an aged care reviews system to assist consumers who are weighing up their residential aged care options.

The purpose of aged care reviews is to provide consumers with valuable insights and information to assist with their decision making.

User reviews are a fundamental tool for consumers when it comes to choosing hotels and restaurants and many consumers believe it makes logical sense to offer reviews in the aged care sector.

Not only will these aged care reviews assist consumers in finding a place for their loved one, but the reviews will also encourage aged care providers to uphold high quality care services and facilities.

It takes just a couple of minutes to post a review and will significantly help other families looking for an aged care place for their loved one.
