John Edmondson VC Gardens is a brand new living community for 64 residents who seek residential care in an elegant, comfortable and secure environment.
The type and amount of care a person receives is dependent on what is needed to maintain his or her ‘normal’ lifestyle and includes assistance with basic activities of daily living in which a resident may require help or supervision.
Skilled care is provided for those who need medical or nursing care or disabled or sick persons. Specialist dementia care accommodation gives residents the best quality of life in a safe and supportive environment.
Our lifestyle activities include gentle exercise, art therapy, music, craft, movies and more as well as church services and a regular ‘happy hour’. A village bus also takes residents for regular social outings to local places of interest.
John Edmondson VC Gardens has a selection of 64 homes in a lovely garden setting. Accommodation includes private rooms with ensuite with sun-drenched terraces and gardens, two bright and spacious internal courtyards as well as an aviary and aquarium which can be viewed from the dining and lounge area. This peaceful setting provides a number of different entertaining areas – from larger settings for sharing time with family and friends to smaller areas for quiet independence.
Single rooms comprise of a bed/sitting room with private en-suite, heating and emergency call button. The village features shared community rooms for planned daily activities, socials and dining. We believe in connection and community, with all private bedrooms linked to shared living spaces and beautiful outdoor areas.
