Care is provided by professional caring staff who attend to all resident care needs.
Our staff are supported by a team of qualified allied health care specialists to provide residents with services such as physiotherapy, podiatry, hydrotherapy and beauty therapist.
Delicious, nutritionally balanced meals are prepared by our skilled chefs. Meals can be tailored to meet specific dietary requirements.
There is something on every day for our residents to enjoy such as recreational activities, fun filled shows, or regular outings in the bus to keep minds and bodies active.

The Premium Suite have a maximum Refundable Accommodation Deposit of $1,000,000.
Premium Suites offer enhanced features which vary depending on the location of the room. Some rooms include kitchenettes; some have expansive views and/or superior room size or layout. Whilst rooms vary in aspect, all benefit from direct access to a large private balcony or private courtyard or private terrace and/or direct access to alfresco areas, safe walking paths etc.
Residents have access to lounges, dining rooms, quiet and private sitting areas and reading nooks, access to a well-stocked library, computer area, TV lounge with Smart TV, some rooms have access to games area with a full-sized pool table and table tennis table. The Prestige Plus Suite have a maximum Refundable Accommodation Deposit of $1,400,000.
Some Prestige Plus Suites can be found in the very private, Boutique Hotel like surroundings of the Sylvania Suites others have been chosen for their expansive views of some of the Sutherland Shires best postcodes and/or leafy district views and/or proximity to the Wellness Centre, Gym and private Suites lift with access via the Moran Gallery walk. Others directly access to alfresco areas and private landscaped gardens via a private patio. Approximate room size is 22m2 or larger, all vary in aspect and all have a unique features which make them some of the most desirable accommodation in the Home.

At Moran Sylvania, a variety of day-to-day activities and plenty of fun are a priority. Recently the Moran Sylvania team decided to work together with the residents they care for to try something new. Some pushed their comfort zone and others were right in their element when creating a musical production of 'Que Sera Sera'.
In May 2020 after almost three months of COVID-19 visitor restrictions and social distancing within our home, the team at Moran Sylvania decided that residents needed a boost to their mental, physical and emotional wellbeing.
Most of us enjoy reminiscing about the past and for seniors this can be an especially beneficial and enjoyable past-time. When we take the time to encourage and listen to someone re-tell a story from their past, we see them come alive with the memory. As part of Mother’s Day celebrations, Moran Sylvania carers decided to collaborate with residents on a project called Memories of My Mother.
A new exhibition opening at Moran Gallery Sylvania promises to be just as colourful as it is a labour of love. Robert James is a self-taught patch worker who quilts every day. His abstract works are inspired by his research into Theosophy and how this influenced painters such as Kandinsky and Mondrian, as well as the works of contemporary quilters like Michael James from the United States and Anne Woringer from France.
When St George & Sutherland Hospitals planned construction of new buildings they knew that the community could play a role in bringing colour and life to the public spaces. Local amateur photographers were invited to submit photos of the St George and Sutherland region with the best ones chosen for permanent display in the new buildings. Free photography workshops were held to make sure member of the community wanting to contribute would have skills to get started.
Moran Sylvania have recently added five brand new private resident rooms to their secure dementia specific unit. These additional rooms are part a significant refurbishment and upgrade in Dementia Care at Moran Sylvania and Moran are delighted to be introducing these new/upgraded spaces to residents and their families.
