Situated just off the leafy landscape of St Kilda Road and close to public transport, Smorgon Family Nursing Home provides cost effective, 24-hour care for permanent care or for short-term respite services. Shared rooms at Smorgon Family Nursing Home are fully-furnished and spacious with shared ensuites. Rooms are fitted with electric beds, centrally controlled air conditioning and heating, a double wardrobe and a set of drawers, and overlook courtyards. The safe and homely environment at Smorgon includes: • A nurse-call system • An on-site synagogue and Rabbi attentive to your spiritual needs • Kosher catering • Comfortably furnished separate lounges and dining room areas giving residents a real sense of home • A daily program of activities includes music, art, exercise, aromatherapy, entertainment, concerts and regular outings Families are always welcome and encouraged to become part of the Smorgon Family community. All residents are required to undertake an Centrelink asset assessment with will be used to determined the amount of accommodation payment (RAD) may apply. Concessional/supported are accepted.
