Illawarra Diggers is located in Wollongong’s northern suburbs and provides quality care, accommodation and support for more than 100 men and women in the local community, in particular veterans and war widows. A range of care is offered including permanent care, respite care, palliative care and dementia care.

Residents enjoy the friendly and home-like environment, where staff work to enhance the quality of life of each and every resident. The home is surrounded by landscaped gardens and lawns and features beautiful views over the South Coast coastline.

Bedrooms include a bed, chair and bedside table. Residents are encouraged to bring along personal items to furnish their own rooms to make them feel at home.

A comprehensive lifestyle and activities program is available to all residents. Events often include bus outings, celebrations and individually tailored events.
