The doors have opened to the new extension at Holmwood Aged Care and it looks stunning.
The new building opened in August 2018 and offers a new level of comfort and style!
There are residential rooms with large private ensuite bathrooms, flat screen TVs, built in wardrobes and many have their own outdoor patio area to enjoy the outdoors and sunlight. There is a choice of single and double rooms (couples can stay together).

Holmwood Aged Care offers a safe, nurturing and caring environment where residents can relax and enjoy quality living. We have been providing care and accommodation to the local community in Healesville for nearly 40 years. Our friendly and dedicated care team look after residents like respected family members.
We offer permanent residential aged care accommodation, respite (short term stay), palliative care and concessional places. It’s ideal for ones wanting country style living set amongst mature trees.
There’s a fantastic range of activities to participate in including arts and crafts, gardening, in-house library, movies as well as organised events and entertainment.
