CARE SERVICES

We provide low care services for people who need some assistance with their daily living activities, through to high care services for residents who need around the clock nursing assistance. Our team of compassionate nurses can also provide palliative care and support for the family when required.

Our respite care service offers family and carers the opportunity to take a short break from their care responsibilities. Family can rest assured that their loved one is being well cared for in a safe and nurturing environment.

ACCOMMODATION

Bethel is styled to create a nurturing and comfortable atmosphere where residents can come together to visit with family and friends in one of our many lounge rooms and open-air sitting areas.

Our low care and high care accommodations provide both single and shared rooms including quality bedding and furniture. All rooms are appointed with equipment to aid people who are physically challenged and the flooring throughout Bethel is non-slip.

Emergency call buttons installed to residents bedrooms, bathrooms and throughout communal areas of Bethel alert nursing staff around the clock. An elevator links the three floors of the building and there are no steps to negotiate.

LIFESTYLE

Our dedicated Activities Officers tailor individual and group lifestyle programs that encourage participation in a range of enriching activities.

Some of the activities we offer include regular social outings, concerts, sensory programs, movie sessions, arts and crafts, games and themed events celebrating special occasions.

Our residents can enjoy the indulgences of a new hair style and polished manicure at Bethel, with a qualified hairdresser and beautician visiting regularly.

Family and friends are always welcome to join their loved one in activities at Bethel.

MEALS

We can always cater for residents who may not like the seasonal menu options, offering soup, salad or sandwiches if preferred.

All meals are freshly prepared on site by our dedicated catering staff and can be enjoyed in a number of dining areas.

Residents are encouraged to give feedback on the menu, which we are flexible to adapt to meet their preferences. We also cater to residents with special dietary needs associated with conditions such as diabetes or gluten intolerance.

Our menus are developed with the assistance of dietetic services to ensure adequate, balanced and delicious menu is offered. We also believe that a bit of indulgence now and then is good for the spirits.
