Baptistcare Mirrambeena is just a short drive from Margaret River’s world-famous beaches and wineries. The home takes pride in providing personal, family-oriented care, using a holistic approach and compassionate attitude. Being a small country centre, Mirrambeena stays true to its roots, delivering service with a smile.
The central kitchens are surrounded by light-filled, roomy common areas that look out onto the beautiful gardens. Barbeque areas are set up for family entertaining, offering the ideal setting for special occasions and social gatherings.
Residents living with dementia have 24 hour care from registered nurses and trained support staff in the calming, decorative dementia specific unit, where continued quality of life is paramount. The area includes quiet lounges, bedrooms and a garden area designed to stimulate the senses and entice residents to the outdoors.
Room configurations are single with ensuite and double with ensuite. There are 30 single rooms, eight double rooms and 12 dementia specific beds. All include an adjustable bed, chair, over-bed table, lockable cupboard, reverse-cycle air-conditioning unit and curtains for maximum privacy. The majority of rooms look onto the pretty surrounding gardens or courtyards. All windows are fitted with flyscreens and security screens.
