Residents at Baptistcare Gracewood have access to several common areas, both indoors and outdoors. There is a large covered balcony with BBQ facilities, adjoining to surrounding parklands and a sun room, general activities room and several quiet lounge areas for downtime.

Activities operate throughout the week through the lifestyle department, with local schoolchildren and community groups engaged where possible.

The friendly, approachable care team at Baptistcare Gracewood aim to provide residents with every opportunity to enjoy life and ensure specific interests are met.

The facility caters to people living with dementia in a dedicated memory support unit, offering a safe and stimulating environment with 24 hour care by highly trained registered nurses and support staff. This area includes a secure courtyard area designed to entice residents outside to enjoy the fresh air as much as possible.

Rooms are configured in single occupancy with ensuite bathroom, also including an adjustable bed, curtains, windows fitted with flyscreens and security screens, reverse cycle air-conditioning, built-in-robes, lockable cupboards, chair, television, phone and over-bed table. Residents are invited to bring their own personal adornments to make themselves feel most at home.

SINGLE ROOM Standard Room with private ensuite. Gracewood has 110 single rooms with private ensuites, including 25 dementia specific rooms. All the rooms are in very good condition, with excellent paint work, floor coverings, and ensuites with quality fittings. Each room features built-in robes, lockable cabinet, chair, adjustable bed, over bed table, reverse cycle air-conditioning, TV and phone. Respite rooms are available on request. 14.7m2.
