First established in 1997, with several extensions and renovations later, Anzac Lodge now offers 120 residential aged care beds comprised of single rooms with private ensuite as well as some twin share rooms to cater for couples.
Anzac Lode is a multi cultural facility (residents and staff) but a large percentage of our residents are from an Italian background hence our menu has been designed to suit. We also have several Italian speaking staff and run Italian language classes for other staff that are from a non Italian speaking background.
The management team have extensive experience in the aged care industry with backgrounds in corporate management, medicine and nursing. They take a very hands on approach to ensure that Anzac Lodge is a place each resident can truly call home. We embrace the evolution in technology to improve care and efficiencies. Most of our documentation is electronic based to improve accuracy, consistency and communication. Our medication administration system is electronic which minimises the risk of errors.
Anzac Lodge is fully accredited and strives to care for each resident as though they were their own loved one. Being a small aged care provider, residents are not treated just like another number.
