New South Wales » Outer Western Sydney
Outer Western Sydney is within the metropolitan region, but is seen as its own region.
The largest city in the region is Parramatta and is the sixth largest central business district in Australia. Sydney is easily accessed by major highways and trains. The city is easy to get around by public transport, with bus services available.
The population of the Parramatta city is almost 170,000 and is expected to grow by 10% every year and reach just over 200,000 people by 2031.
The city is oldest inland European settlement in Australia and is filled with historical buildings, heritage cottages and museums. The city has recently been upgraded with renovations completed around the railways station and ongoing development of Parramatta Square.
Although an urban centre, the stunning nature of the Blue Mountains are easily accessed from Parramatta and most residents can get to Sydney’s CBD within an hour.
Major aged care providers in Western city include Catholic Healthcare, Thompsom Health Care, Hammond Care, Twilight Aged Care and many others.
