A Focus on Frailty

Fronditha Care receives $20,000 to build truly versatile Community Centre

Not-for-profit aged care provider Fronditha Care will be able to create a flexible and multi-use community centre in Melbourne’s south east, with the help of a $20,000 grant from the Federal Government. The funds will be used to purchase tables, chairs and TV screens and will be fitted in a way that they can be adaptable to the needs of different community groups.

A Bid to Have their First Waltz

Aged care resident Brian Glover was struck down by a debilitating disease that stopped him from walking. However he set himself a goal to work with the therapist at aged care facility Bethanie Fields and do the bridal waltz with his wife on her 80th birthday last year, as a complete surprise to her.
