The Aged Care Workforce Industry Council is now a legally constituted entity and has commenced work to prioritise and progress the 14 Strategic Actions of Australia’s Aged Care Workforce Strategy – A Matter of Care, developed by the Aged Care Workforce Strategy Taskforce in 2018 and led by Professor John Pollaers.

Designed for aged care professionals, the seminars will explore a positive approach to dementia care and the effective engagement and support of people living with dementia. They will focus on the cognitive, behavioural and physical aspects of dementia care and the related practices that can be easily adopted to stimulate positive improvements within each aspect.
