Coronavirus Cases on the Rise in Aged Care

According to recent reports by the Department of Health, there have now been 41 residents and staff in 17 aged care homes across Australia who have been diagnosed with Covid-19 (Coronavirus).

Dorothy Henderson Lodge in Sydney has been one of the most affected, with 16 residents and five staff members testing positive. Six residents have now died.

These numbers are a grim reminder of what we are all dealing with, and the extreme precautions that need to be taken in order to protect our most vulnerable citizens.

Most aged care homes are now on lockdown, not allowing any visitors.
