Braemar is home to new defibrillator

Braemar Presbyterian Care can announce that the location of the new public access defibrillator cabinet is located at Braemar Cooinda.

Located at 31 Moorhouse St, Willagee, on the corner of Leach Highway and North Lake Road, the defibrillator can be accessed in an emergency by calling 000 and gaining a unique access code to open the box.

Caley Burke, Maintenance Operations Supervisor, says the defibrillator is outside the Cooinda aged care facility, on the Leach Highway entrance.

“Braemar takes its role in the community very seriously, and we are very pleased to be able to offer a location for the defibrillator on what is a very popular and busy intersection,” she says.

“If we can do our bit in protecting the community and ultimately helping to save lives, we are incredibly happy to do so.”

Since 1952, Braemar Presbyterian Care has been offering care and friendship to the elderly in Western Australia. Braemar currently operates three residential care facilities, providing care and support to over 200 people. Braemar Care’s philosophy is one of Relationship Centred Care, which supports the relationships that exist and develop between staff, volunteers, residents and their families.
