Tranquil Gardens, Spas and Music - Wellbeing Rooms Open for Residents

on Thursday, March 21, 2019

St Patrick’s Green has opened a third special wellbeing room for residents the “Zen Garden”, which joins St Pat’s Spa and the Reflection Room to further help residents relax and unwind.

The Zen Garden is based on the philosophy that a bit of nature is good for the soul and will allow residents to relax and meditate, among the sounds of a water feature and rustling palms.

Additional wellbeing rooms include the St Pat’s Spa where residents can enjoy a soothing massage experience. The wellbeing room is complete with lavender essential oils, calming music and facials and other beauty treatments for those who are looking to pamper themselves.

The Reflection Room is the third wellbeing being room available and provides a tranquil space for residents to reflect on life, away from the bustling of communal areas.

The Reflection Room is perfect for residents to have a quiet moment, with the manager of Spiritual and Holistic Care being available to meet them if anything is troubling them.

Retirement living manager Sasha Hutcheon said the aim of the wellbeing spaces is to create a haven within the Kogarah village.

“We’re so excited that our wellbeing rooms are now open. We wanted to create a haven within our Kogarah village where our residents could go to relax and unwind. Our Reflection Room and Zen Garden are great spaces to sit with your thoughts in a quiet place, and our first resident to have a massage in the St Pat’s Spa has already booked in for another one!” she said.
