Students Show That Volunteering at Regis Hornsby is For Young and Old

Stephanie, Eleana and Fiona attend a local girls’ high school in Hornsby NSW and chose to do the community service component of their Duke of Edinburgh award at Regis Hornsby.

Since coming on board in July 2018, the girls have enthusiastically assisted the Lifestyle team each week with various activities such as concerts, bingo, individual visits, happy hour, and organising the Christmas event. 

All three have now completed their required hours and have chosen to stay on as volunteers. 

As a result of the girls’ positive word-of-mouth and advertising in the school newsletter Regis Hornsby have two other girls starting when school returns in 2019 with plenty of others enquiring.
