Regis Celebrates Opening of New Elermore Vale Aged Care Residence

on Tuesday, November 13, 2018

Sharon Claydon, the Federal Member for Newcastle, attended the Official Opening celebration of the state of the art aged care residence Regis Elermore Vale last week. Ms Claydon was joined by Regis' Executive General Managers Kirsty Nottle and Michelle Baker, industry providers, placement agencies, local dignitaries, residents, families and staff.

Regis invited neighbours, industry providers, bed fillers, local dignitaries, and volunteers to attend a cocktail style event to showcase this state-of-the-art aged care home.

The state of the art Elermore Vale residence features single rooms with en suite and boasts an on site chef offering dining options with wine or beer, a café, private dining room, day spa, café, hair salon, cinema, library, WiFi and Foxtel. Regis Elermore Vale opened to residents in September 2018 and offers ageing in place, respite and dementia care.

Built on the site of the Viking Swim Centre and set in a peaceful and friendly environment with outdoor areas designed to allow full wheelchair access, Regis is renowned for their extensive lifestyle and group activities.

“The construction of this facility and the investment in new aged care beds highlights Regis’ commitment to building outstanding person focused aged care facilities not only in Elermore Vale but across the country. It is an investment in much needed new facilities to meet future demand in NSW,” said Regis Executive General Manager Investment Relations and Corporate Services Kirsty Nottle.

Regis is one of the largest private operators of aged care in Australia.
