Braemar Takes Out Prestigious National Award

Braemar Presbyterian Care has been awarded the Small Budget Marketing accolade in the 2018 Awards for Marketing Excellence, which were announced in Sydney on Wednesday 10 October as part of the Australian Marketing Institute Awards.

The Perth not-for-profit organisation received the award as a result of its revitalised marketing and public relations approach, which has seen heightened awareness of the life-changing aged care services offered at the not-for-profit provider’s Braemar Village facility over the past 12 months.

Braemar’s Chief Executive, Wayne Belcher OAM, says Braemar is proud to be acknowledged by the Australian Marketing Institute, as it highlights the importance of clear and engaging communication in facilitating easier access to Aged Care services.

“Receiving national recognition is very exciting for our entire team as it’s an acknowledgement of the vital and life-improving work being carried out at Braemar,” Mr Belcher comments.

“We are undertaking a number of new projects which reflect Braemar’s commitment to high quality care and friendship. This includes the opening of a new memory support service at Braemar Village in Willagee to support people living with Dementia. We remain committed to informing our community about Braemar’s unique care and friendship approach,” he says.

He adds, “The hard work, passion, and expertise of everyone at Braemar who has been involved with growing awareness of Braemar Village is very much deserving of recognition. It showcases the team approach to offering high quality aged care for Perth’s seniors.”

Throughout the year, Braemar Presbyterian Care has been focused on in-depth engagement with the local community, to inform the public of the range of life-improving services offered at by the not-for-profit care facility. These services include lifestyle support and enrichment, memory support and dementia care services across all Braemar’s facilities.
