Empowering Ageing: SummitCare Launches Free Aged Care Information Sessions

Four free information sessions, operated by Aged Care provider SummitCare will be held at Liverpool Library every Tuesday throughout the month of September from 10:30am until 12:00pm. Located at 170 George Street in Liverpool, the four free sessions are set with the theme of understanding your choices, maintaining control and enhancing your health when working through the ageing processes. 

These information sessions, supported by Dementia Australia, Carers NSW and Affinity Aged Care Financial Services, in conjunction with Liverpool City Council and Liverpool Library, are set to provide the public with crucial information about the ageing process and what it means for their individual circumstances.

Each session will host an expert speaker, providing in-depth discussion on creating a positive ageing experience for either themself or a loved one, on set topics for each session.

  • 4th Sept: Dr. Irene Stein (Health and wellbeing as we age)
  • 11th Sept: Alzheimer’s Australia (Living with, or loving someone with dementia)
  • 18th Sept: Affinity Aged Care Financial Services (Aged care, finance and you)
  • 25th Sept: Carers NSW and SummitCare (Carers’ support and home care)
