All Aboard for Freedom’s Tropical Cruise Ship Party

Last week, residents from Freedom Aged Care Doncaster enjoyed a tropical cruise ship party as a special social event organised by Freedom's on-site community team.

Freedom Aged Care Doncaster’s community dining room was transformed into a cruise ship for the day, with residents given a ticket to come aboard, and presented with a colourful Lei. Residents enjoyed a buffet lunch and there were plenty of cocktails and mock tails for everyone to enjoy.

After lunch Freedom Aged Care Doncaster’s on-site team organised some quiz games and everyone posed for some happy snaps on the destination tropical island.

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their cruise ship party – no one was seasick and no one fell overboard!

Freedom Aged Care offers a simple sense of community, and we encourage our communities to do what they love and continue to have a sense of playfulness and purpose. The fun doesn’t stop as we get older, we get older when the fun stops.
