Felicity Beaulieu Appointed Chief Operating Officer – Community At Bethanie

Bethanie, one of Western Australia’s leading not-for-profit aged care and retirement living providers has appointed Felicity Beaulieu as its new Chief Operating Officer - Community. 

Beaulieu has 23 years of diverse experience working in the health sector in Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom and joins a team of five other Executives who report directly to Chris How – Chief Executive Officer of Bethanie.

She brings to her new role a wealth of leadership experience, having spent the last seven years in various roles within the organisation, starting as Therapy Services Manager and moving into various roles including General Manager Central Services and General Manager Community, before taking up this new role in March 2018.

Beaulieu is now responsible for the operations of Bethanie Retirement Villages, Serviced Apartments, Social Housing, Community In-Home services (including Home Care Packages and other government funded programmes) and Social Centres.

Beaulieu says, “I’m looking forward to understanding and meeting the changing expectations of West Australians as they age in their communities. With my background in Occupational Therapy I’ll be continuing the Bethanie focus on person-centred service provision, maintaining wellbeing and active engagement in community as people age and maximizing their independence.”

Beaulieu holds a Bachelor of Science (Occupational Therapy) and a Graduate Certificate in Health Professional Education, School of Medicine and Dentistry, UWA.
