on the Thursday, September 7, 2017

The Taigum community will now be able to enjoy five-star luxury aged care in their senior years with the opening of Arcare Taigum by Australia’s largest privately-owned aged care accommodation provider.

Councillor for Deagon Ward Jarred Cassidy joined Arcare CEO Colin Singh in officiating the opening on Thursday 7th September.

A community open day will follow on Saturday 9th September, where locals can tour the site and speak with a financial expert about accommodation fees or get advice on planning for future age care needs. There will also be fresh juices for guests from Elemental Juice Co.

Arcare Taigum offers 93 spacious suites, each with private ensuite.

The opening will mark the 33rd residence for Arcare in Australia, and the 13th residence in Queensland.

Arcare Taigum offers the latest resort-style amenities including a boutique café, hair salon, theatre and a private dining room in which residents can entertain family and friends.

Arcare CEO Colin Singh says the site was specially designed to accommodate the growing needs of people moving out of their homes and into residential care.

"Families can rest assured that their loved ones will be cared for to the highest standard thanks to our outstanding amenities as well our Dedicated Assignments, where team members work with the same small number of clients every time they come to work."

Arcare Taigum will employ more than 100 staff. The business also operates a home care division to those wishing to remain living in their local community, and provides transport, domestic, social and disability support services, as well as home care packages.
