Regis Expands Home Care Services to Eastern Metro Melbourne & Cairns

Regis is one of Australia’s largest aged care providers with 53 homes located around the country. Regis recently announced that in late February 2017, Regis Home Care will expand its offering, providing services not only in Mildura and Darwin but also in Eastern Metropolitan Melbourne, Victoria and Cairns, Queensland.

Regis’ Home Care experts will help older Australians stay in the comfort of their own home for as long as possible.

National Manager – Regis Home Care (a subsidiary of Regis Aged Care) Todd Waldron said, “We know how important it is for our clients to feel confident, in control and supported. We support clients staying in touch with friends and family, their community and to continue doing the things they like doing.”

Mr Waldron said that Regis understands the need to offer a range of services and will be doing this by not only offering government funded services but also additional services which will include 24-hour care.

“We have just conducted a six-month program to improve the quality of what we do so we are seen to be an industry provider of choice and that is more important now as people can change from service to service quite easily,” he said.

Ensuring a strong team of support workers will be a key center of interest for Regis with the focus being on providing customer service and skills which will enable their team to provide services based on the needs and desires of the consumer.
