Benetas St Paul’s Terrace Officially Opened

on Wednesday, August 17, 2016

Benetas St Paul’s Terrace in Frankston South was officially opened yesterday, offering a new development on the Mornington Peninsula celebrating a fresh approach to aged care.

Benetas was delighted to launch the second development which combines truly individualised care with state-of-the-art facilities, following from the opening of Benetas Corowa Court Aged Care Apartments in July.

The work that began at the Benetas Corowa Court Aged Care Apartments is based on person-centered and relationship-focused care in a homelike environment. The St Paul’s Terrace development is based on these same principles of enjoying the comforts of home, while fostering enriching relationships and enhancing emotional bonds between carers and residents.

“This new model is based on international best practice developed over a number of years, combining our 68 years of experience with the best components of residential aged care models from around the world. We truly believe this new approach will change the face of residential aged care in Australia,” said Sandra Hills, Benetas CEO.

“We wanted to support residents to have more choice and control over how they live, because this is their home. Our approach to design and care achieves this,” said Ms Hills.

“Benetas has been supporting older people on the Peninsula for 50 years. We are delighted to be continuing to celebrate the rich history and vibrant communities in the region, by opening another development in Frankston with excellent facilities,” Ms Hills said.
