TLC Learning Gains Registration as a Training Organisation

on Thursday, April 7, 2016

TLC Healthcare has been granted registration for 7 years as a training organisation by the Australian Skills Quality Authority.

TLC Learning is an industry training organisation dedicated to providing the latest in aged care courses to the staff of TLC Aged Care.

Their state-of-the art learning facility located in central Melbourne is designed to give students an interactive learning experience.

On-the-job training at their own residential aged care homes will allow students to gain practical experience under the supervision of trained staff.

The trainers and assessors selected by TLC Learning to provide training and assessment services have their TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment. They are also registered nurses who have extensive experience of working in residential aged care.

TLC Learning’s new training facility on St Kilda Road in Melbourne and on-site wholly owned training facilities in Donvale, Noble Park, Frankston and Geelong are now complete and the training of staff will commence in 2016.

Lou Pascuzzi, the CEO of TLC Healthcare believes that TLC Learning will have a major impact on the success of the organisation and its team.

“The quality and development of our team is paramount to the success of our organisation. In-house training of our staff not only provides TLC with a highly skilled workforce but also opens up training opportunities to team members who may not otherwise undertake career development.

“Ongoing professional development is vital to ensuring our people are skilled in providing exceptional care to our communities. Professional development also meets mandatory training requirements for accreditation and compliance. Learning contributes to our people being engaged and enthusiastic about what we do as an organisation.

“I would like to thank Fleur Limpus, the Manager of TLC Learning for all of the hard work and dedication that she has shown during the accreditation process. Fleur has had over 30 years’ experience in the vocational education and training sector. During this time she successfully prepared and submitted applications to establish several registered training organisations, including her own business” says Lou Pascuzzi.
