UnitingCare Ageing Open Day – Friday 19 June

On Friday June 19, UnitingCare NSW.ACT Ageing is participating in the ACSA National Aged Care Open Day initiative. This international initiative is in its second year now and aged care services in the UK, Malta, South Africa and Australia are all participating. 

By holding open day events, UnitingCare NSW.ACT want the local communities they serve to better understand that aged care services really can be inspiring communities in their own right, full of unique, intelligent and charming characters, and staffed by special people that really do care.  

UnitingCare NSW.ACT has approximately 40 Home and Community Care, Residential Care and Independent Living services participating in the open day on Friday June 19:

ACT & Southern Tablelands

• Mirinjani Residential Care Open Day Time: 10am - 2pm

Central Coast

• Nareen Gardens Open Day Time: 10am - 11:30am

Hunter Valley & Newcastle

• Denison Court Independent Living Open Day Time: 10am - 11am

Illawarra & South Coast

• Osborne Nursing Home Open Day Time: TBC
• Elanora Residential Care Open Day Time: 11am - 2pm

North Coast & Northern Rivers

Northern Sydney

• Kari Court Open Day Time: 10am - 3pm

• Mayflower Independent Living Village Rockdale Open Day Time: 10am - 11am
