NSW Seniors Week: 14 – 22 March 2015

New South Wales Seniors Week is the largest festival for seniors in the Southern Hemisphere, designed to celebrate and recognise seniors for the contribution they make to the NSW community. 

A range of government, community and commercial organisations hold hundreds of events across the state, encompassing art, sport, music, entertainment, technology, recreation, health, good nutrition and more.

NSW Seniors Week is for people over 60, Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islanders over the age of 50 and people over 50 that have a lifelong disability.

The theme for NSW Seniors Week 2015 is BE INSPIRED and is about encouraging greater effort, enthusiasm and creativity, with a focus on activities that celebrate self-expression.
