Do you ever have to ask your children or grandchildren for help when trying to work out how to use some of today’s gadgets and technologies? Well, now the tables have turned! This group of kids between the ages of six and thirteen were asked how to use a typewriter – something some of them have never seen! Most recognise the typewriter from movies and antique shops, and rely on fearless determination and trial and error to work out how to use it.
When asked how they felt for the people who lived at a time when there were no computers, six-year-old Lucas said, “I feel very sad for them. They can’t FaceTime, they can’t do messages, and they can’t play games.”
“I feel so bad for you guys. But you’re probably like, how do you use this MacBook,” 11-year-old Jayka says.
