Upcoming event: The 2014 UnitingCare Ageing Seniors Ball

UnitingCare Ageing residents in Sydney are dusting off the prairie gowns and cowboy boots to prepare for the biggest event of the year, the annual Seniors Ball on March 14.

The night’s entertainment is all in keeping with this years Wild West theme, from sheep shearing to buggy rides.

Residents will be treated like VIP guests in the grand "saloon", which promises to host a lively dance floor well into the evening.

Heading to its eighteenth year, the UnitingCare Ageing Ball has become one of the most highly anticipated traditions amongst residents.

Many of the UnitingCare facilities run costume-design workshops and dancing classes in lead up to the special night.

Over 1000 guests turned out for last year’s ball, an attendance record UnitingCare hopes to beat next month.

The festivities will kick-off at 5.30pm on Friday 14 March at Hordern Pavillion in Moore Park, Sydney.
