Western Australian aged care provider Bethanie have opened nominations for their annual Bethanie Medallion awards. The nominations are open to all health professionals and volunteers who make a difference in the Aged Care Community though their work.
The Bethanie Medallion is designed to recognsied the people who serve and support the state’s ageing population and those who have history of consistently delivering exception service in the aged care industry.
The categories for the Bethanie Medallion include:
Bethanie Professional Medallion: Recognises a professional with a history of consistently delivering service within the Aged Care sector
Bethanie Volunteer Medallion – Individual: Recognises an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to those in aged care in a voluntary capacity
Bethanie Volunteer Medallion – Organisation: Recognises an organisation that has shown outstanding dedication towards others in the community, inspiring others to contribute to, and participate in the aged care sector.
Bethanie Graduate Medallion: Recognises an outstanding Bethanie Graduate who has achieved outstanding academic results and has delivered quality care while undertaking their clinical work.
Bethanie Media Medallion: Recognises a journalist for balanced reporting on aged care and/or exceptional reporting of a WA aged care related issue.
Nominations will close on Friday, the 28th of June and nominations can be made on the Bethanie website. Individuals, groups and organisations within the aged care sector are encouraged to nominate.
The finalists for the medallion will be announced on the 10th of July and the judging will take place on the 22nd of July this year.
