Residential Aged Care: BlueCross Purchases Scotchman’s Creek Aged Care

BlueCross assumed ownership of Scotchman’s Creek Aged Care Residence in Mount Waverly last Friday (March 1).

The residence formally managed by Ageing Together is an extra service residence offering low care, high care, respite and dementia specific needs for 134 residents. The facility is set on five acres of parkland.

 

BlueCross said that all existing staff have been offered the opportunity to retain their positions and residents’ security of tenure is also guaranteed.

BlueCross said that Scotchman’s Creek would be a highly valued addition to the organisation and the residence complimented their portfolio and investment strategy.

BlueCross has been providing care and support within aged care and the community since 1993.  BlueCross operates 22 residences throughout Victoria and accommodates over 1300 residents.

Their Care at Home service supports over 1500 clients in their homes.
