Nursing Homes Western Australia: Principal Geraldton Wins Home of the Year Award

Principal Geraldton has won the National Home of the Year award at the second annual Domain Principal Best Practice Awards. The ceremony is designed to reward and celebrate excellence in aged care achievements across Domain and Principal homes. The criteria for the awards included consistent performance of excellence in clinical care, low levels of risk and injury displayed and employee satisfaction and development.

The home’s Western Australia State Manager Tabitha Hilliard said she was incredibly proud of the achievement.

“We are a strong team at Principal Geraldton and we all work towards our goals of resident care and experience whilst at the same time running a well connected and friendly home” she said.

The event was held at the Royal Pines Resort on the Gold Coast which was attended by over 180 managers and executive staff, including Managing Director Gary Barnier.

Principal Geraldton is a member of the Midwest Chamber of Commerce and Industry and has been a finalist both as a business and for individuals in the ‘Excellence in Customer Service by Individual’ and ‘Excellence in Customer Service by Business’ for the past two years.
