Modern plans for The Whiddon Group Easton Park

Aged care and community care provider, The Whiddon Group have announced plans to redevelop and upgrade their Easton Park residential aged care facility in Glenfield.

The redevelopments will begin at the end of this year according to CEO Lee-ann Irwin. “2013 is an exciting year for Whiddon as we continue to upgrade our Glenfield site” said Ms Irwin.

The redevelopment will be completed in 2016 and will incorporate two of Easton Park’s existing buildings and accommodate 160 clients. The new building will have two wings, each with 80 private rooms, modern lounge and common rooms, and a basement parking area.

“We will be redeveloping a number of our older buildings over the next few years as part of our strategic direction to improve services for Whiddon clients. Our goal is to provide contemporary design, modern spaces, and a beautiful place for clients to live in,” said Easton Park’s General Manager, Stacy Wake.

The upgrade and development of new buildings and services is part of The Whiddon Group’s strategic goals for 2013 and beyond.
