Catholic Homes Celebrates its Volunteers

The annual Volunteer Recognition Ceremony was held by Catholic Homes in May to recognise the dedication of the organisation’s volunteers.

The ceremony was held at Leonda by the Yarra and is the second ceremony by the organisation to acknowledge the time and effort given by volunteers.

Catholic Homes acknowledged that their volunteers make their residents in their aged care facilities happier and enrich their lives.The ceremony included a video which presented a resident from each facility sending the volunteers a big ‘thank you’, and was thought to be a highlight of the ceremony.

The Chairman of the Catholic Homes Board Peter Collery and CEO Greg Pullen attended, as well as members of the Executive Team & Central Office Staff, Residential Services Managers and Lifestyle Coordinators.

Catholic Homes would like to thank all volunteers for their continual time, dedication and continued support.
