Located in Balcatta, MYVISTA is
run by Stirling Ethnic Aged Homes Association, which was
created in the early 1990’s by six ethnic clubs.
Since then it has evolved into a progressive organisation
that offers a wide range of accommodation and care services
for both active and not so active people in our community.
MYVISTA Aged
Care
Is a fully integrated residential care facility designed to
meet the cultural needs of predominantly Italian, Macedonian
and Yugoslav residents, however residents from other ethnic
backgrounds feel very much at home at MYVISTA.
The MYVISTA facilities include a very comfortable 40-bed low
care hostel that is accredited in all 44 standards for a
three-year period until March 2009.
Additionally, they are in the process of building a brand
new high care nursing home that will provide accommodation
for a further 66 residents.
Due to open in May 2008, this state-of-the-art facility will
provide another comfortable and homely environment for
residents needing more intensive care.
Both the low care hostel and high care nursing home are
designed to mirror, as closely as possible, the culture and
lifestyle to which our residents are accustomed.
We achieve this through the style of food that is served,
the layout and décor of the surroundings and the many
familiar languages that are spoken by our staff.
MYVISTA is therefore a place
where residents can feel at home and where regular visits by
family and friends are actively encouraged.
