Aged Care Association Australia - SA (Formerly Australian
Nursing Homes and Extended Care Association, ANHECA SA) is
an independent non-profit Association and peak body for Aged
Care Providers in South Australia dedicated to fostering
professionalism and excellence in all aspects of Aged Care.
We strive to promote high quality standards of aged care, to
provide a range of valuable support services to our members,
and to provide constructive industry representation to
government and other stakeholders. We also provide
comprehensive training and education services, which assist
our members to maintain high professional standards and stay
up-to-date with industry developments.
Members are drawn from the private, not for profit, church
and charitable and local government sectors. We focus on
High Care Facilities (nursing homes), Low Care Facilities
(hostels) and Community Service providers. ACAA SA also has
strong links with the Retirement Village Association (RVA).
Vision ACAA SA is committed to achieving excellence in the
provision of care and services for residential and community
aged care recipients.
The Association promotes and facilitates the maintenance of
high ethical standards and best practice and strives to
exceed the expectations of its members and residents of our
member’s facilities.
The Association endeavours to promote a world class aged
care industry in South Australia and the Northern Territory
by identifying and meeting the needs of members through
provision of forums and educational sessions, and the
development of policies to promote and enhance the industry.
ACAA SA will continue to represent the best interests of our
members and the industry as a whole by actively advocating
the needs of aged care to Government and the community as a
whole.
