Wesley Mission's diverse span of community services begins with our values.

Through our work and witness we believe it is possible to make a positive difference in people's lives. Our mission in Aged Care Services is to serve, cherish and enhance the lives of older people through innovative Residential and Community Care.

Wesley Mission offers a friendly, Christian environment and fulfilling lifestyle choices in high quality and fully accredited nursing home and hostel accommodation. We offer affordable self care retirement alternatives for those who do not currently own their own home and a range of Flexicare services to any village resident needing them. This enables residents to remain in self care villages without premature entry into residential aged care.

In Community Support Services, we provide a diverse range of care and vocational programs. Our goal is to help people who are ageing and frail older people with disabilities to live as independently as possible in the community, provide learning opportunities and respite for carers where needed. Carers in need of emergency and short term relief can take advantage of our Commonwealth Carelink & Carer Respite Centre, Wesley Mission Respite services - both Residential and Community based. Our School for Seniors centres run leisure and learning activities for people over the age of 50 years. These courses include languages, exercise, painting, craft, singing, dancing, table tennis and shuffleboard.

We also offer a large range of Community Aged Care Packages and Extended Aged Care in the Home packages as a part of our Wesley Home Care Services. To gain access to a Wesley Home Care service or Residential Aged Care, (Low and High Care), consult your local Aged Care Assessment Team. ACATs are located at most public hospitals. You will need to telephone for an appointment and the Assessor will come to your home and complete an assessment to determine your needs. There is no cost to you and the Assessor will give you the approval which is commonly known as a 3020 form, together with advice as to the right type of care for you.
