TLC Healthcare is proud to announce the commencement of its $27m Belmont healthcare precinct redevelopment. The extensive renovation will feature the addition of 15 new, opulent suites, boasting separate loungerooms and bedrooms, kitchenettes, luxurious ensuites and private balconies.

TLC CEO Lou Pascuzzi has announced today there is no reason aged care homes cannot provide 24/7 nursing staff to care for their residents. “We certainly didn’t have to wait for a Royal Commission to tell us we needed 24/7 registered nursing staff. 80-year-old Trudy has recently moved into the brand-new aged care home TLC Whitewater in Mordialloc, Victoria. The transition to the new environment was challenging for Trudy, but she found comfort in the compassionate care provided by the staff at the residence. In particular, Trudy has been enjoying hydrotherapy sessions with Primary Care Physiotherapist, Zoe.

TLC Healthcare (TLC) will be amongst the first providers to vaccinate children on their return to school in 2022. Firbank Grammar School and Brighton Grammar School in Melbourne’s southern suburbs will be running in-school vaccination clinics from January 14, prior to their students returning to school. The Government-funded roll-out of the vaccine at in-school clinics will substantially boost vaccination coverage in Australia.
Building on the success of their in-reach vaccination program and the roll-out of rapid antigen testing in residential aged care homes and schools, TLC Aged Care has been contracted by the Commonwealth Government to administer on-site COVID-19 vaccinations.
On Thursday, 28 October 2021, TLC Aged Care will be Australia's first aged care provider to offer Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine booster doses to its 1,600 aged care residents and 2,000 staff and contractors across their 11 locations. TLC will be utilising their in-house TLC Primary Care vaccination team to deliver the doses.

On September 9, TLC Aged Care introduced a rapid antigen testing program at their 11 residential aged care homes across Melbourne and Geelong. TLC is Australia’s first aged care provider to mandate rapid antigen tests for every visitor, staff member and contractor that enters their homes. The rapid antigen test that TLC utilises is 95% effective and has been approved by the TGA in Australia and the FDA in the United States.
Melbourne-based aged care provider, TLC Aged Care, has announced that all visitors to their aged care homes will be required to take a rapid COVID-19 test and return a negative result before entry.
From September 9, TLC Aged Care (TLC) will be introducing a rapid antigen testing program at their 11 residential aged care homes located across Melbourne and Geelong. This program is a critical step in preparing for the changes that will be introduced when 80% of the Australian population is vaccinated against COVID-19.
TLC Aged Care has been awarded 205 subsidised residential aged care places in the 2020 Aged Care Approvals Round (ACAR), which is 100% of their requested places. This is the highest number of aged care places allocated to a single provider in Australia.
TLC Aged Care mandated compulsory COVID-19 vaccinations for all of their 1,800 aged care staff plus their external contractors in March 2021. The Australian Government has confirmed that this will now be the case in all residential aged care homes across Australia.
TLC Healthcare has confirmed that they have been appointed by the Department of Health to vaccinate thousands of aged care residents who were unable to be immunised during the initial vaccination program.
TLC Aged Care has today confirmed that they are in a position to assist other aged care providers to vaccinate their residents and staff against COVID-19 and influenza.
