RSL Care delivers quality residential aged care to people located in its aged care homes across New South Wales and Queensland. RSL Care delivers a comprehensive range of care, giving residents all the services they need in one location. Residential care is a vital component to the RSL continuum of care.

RSL Care residential care is supported by a valued team of nurses, personal care attendants and therapy specialists who work hard to create a friendly, open environment for residents. All residential care locations run a full roster of engaging activities to encourage vitality and social connection.

Access to RSL residential care services is subject to approval from the Aged Care Assessment Team. Payments are appropriated to the financial circumstances of the individual.

RSL Care offers:

Residential Aged Care

Accommodation is available for people who are able to live independently in many areas, but may have some need for direct access to personal or care services. Those with limited mobility may be suitable for this style of low care. Higher care accommodation is available for those who need more complex care or those with specialised needs.

Special care units

RSL CARE has a number of secure care wings that are designed to enhance the quality of life of people living with dementia, or those with associated conditions. They are specially staffed with experts who provide specialised high level care in a safe and secure environment.

Accommodation in all areas is typically configured in single rooms with ensuite bathrooms, fixed furniture fittings and an emergency call system. Some complexes cater to couples in double rooms. Residents have access to shared facilities including a lounge, kitchen, dining room, television room and outdoor area. The staffing team is made up of specialist nursing, personal care and therapy personnel. An extensive activities program is organised for the benefit of the residents to encourage social interaction and mental stimulation within the residential communities.

Respite care

RSL Care offers short term respite accommodation for clients across the entire spectrum of care, giving hard-working carers a much needed break.

Additional support services including Home & Community Care are also available to educate and help with the debilitating symptoms of various diseases and conditions associated with ageing. There is a Parkinson’s support group, stroke support group and falls prevention group.

Retirement Living

RSL Care offers independent living units at retirement villages located throughout New South Wales and Queensland

RSL Care welcomes all members of the community with open arms, including ex-servicemen and women.
