Regis Kirwan is a friendly, restful community, just north of the river. Tucked next to the bowls club and purpose designed for comfort, privacy and support, Regis Kirwan offers a thoughtful mix of lifestyle and contemporary aged care.
With 125 places, including 119 as single rooms, Regis Kirwan is setting the standards for aged care in the Townsville region. 30 places are reserved and especially outfitted for the care of people living with dementia.
A limited number of concessional beds are available.

Food
We understand how important nutritious and wholesome food is – that’s why we have qualified chefs, cooks and catering teams in all of our homes who cook on-site from scratch to deliver quality meals to each and every one of our residents.
Dementia
Regis provides targeted services, specialised staff and facilities to support residents living with dementia. Our programs include PARO Therapy, Activity Stations, Table Top Activities, Music Memories, Resi @ Home and our Sundowners Program.
SINGLE ROOM The Karinga Room- Room with private ensuite, nurse call and crimsafe security screens. The Karinga room is contemporary and provides an air conditioning with ceiling fans, built in wardrobe, shelves, desk and includes contemporary furnishings. Residents have the ability to connect phone, wifi and television. Residents enjoy a landscaped garden or streetscape view. Room size is 18m2.
SHARED ROOM - 2 BED. The Acacia Shared Room- Room comes with shared ensuite and each resident has a wardrobe, side table, bed and nurse call. Furnishings have been selected to help create a home-like environment and residents are encouraged to personalise their room with their own photos and keepsakes. The room has direct access to an outdoor patio area where residents can entertain family and friends. Room size 18m2-19m2.
