Helping Hand Ingle Farm caters for 98 residents – providing for both high and low care needs, as well as a secure unit catering for dementia and other challenging behaviours.
There are single and double bedrooms available, as well as two respite beds and a secure dementia specific unit.
The comfortable home is set on almost four hectares of land and boasts beautiful landscaped gardens and courtyards.
Max’s Café provides a welcoming place for residents to share a home cooked meal or coffee with friends or family from Monday through Friday. The Max Marshal Community Centre aims to provide a welcoming, supportive and fun environment with a range of social, physical, spiritual and mental activities for residents, clients and the community. Activities include concerts, craft, table games, bingo, guest speakers, sing-a-longs and more.
Helping Hand encourages independence in maintaining day to day skills, however as increased help is required, staff will tailor services specific to your needs.
Services on offer include:
Classic single room with private ensuite - two vacancies available.
Ingle Farm residential care home is well known for its amazing volunteers. Volunteers are the very heart of the home and help with many things including activities, gardening, lunches, fundraising and simply having a friendly chat. We even have residents get involved. There is a real sense of community at Ingle Farm.
The lifestyles program is fantastic. There is always something new to try. Residents also take regular bus trips to nearby restaurants and attractions.
There is a library, hair salon, chapel and café located onsite at Ingle Farm residential care home.
All rooms are single rooms with private ensuite. We are able to look after people living with dementia with specialised support and care.
Getting to appointments is easy, care is offered in the home. Physiotherapy, podiatry, exercise physiology and occupational therapy are all offered onsite. We are connected to local doctors who visit residents in the home.
As well as the need to have Aged Care Assessment approval, South Australian law also requires that anyone who moves in to a secure Memory Support Unit also needs to have Special Powers Orders in place, which can be applied for through the South Australian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (SACAT): https://www.sacat.sa.gov.au/get-started/guardianship/special-powers
