This national web site has been under development for the last 6 months and will provides all the benefits and functionality of the broader online recruitment web sites, but with a focus solely on Aged Care. Aged Care Radio - Now Available through your TV!

As part of our web portal we have our own dedicated radio station for the staff and residents of aged care facilities across Australia. The Aged Care Radio Station broadcasts 24/7 providing news, current affairs, music and is positioned to become "the voice of the industry" . We are now able to broadcast our radio station through the TV networks of aged care facilities. We have a been trialling the system with two aged care providers and we are now happy to offer it to all aged care facilities across Australia.

The cost of getting the radio installed through the TV system of an aged care facility is a once off cost of approximately $2,500.

Congratulations goes to one of our Melbourne based clients mecwacare on their recent success at the ACCV Excellence Awards.

Mrs Amalia Araujo, a Unit Supervisor at mecwacare's Noel Miller Aged Care Centre, has won the inaugural Aged and Community Care Victoria (ACCV) Excellence Award for Trainee. The Trainee Award celebrates the outstanding achievements of an employee who is studying and working towards a qualification in the aged care sector. Read more here.

Facilitating some 'outside the box' thinking

RetireInvest, together with the Commercial Law Association (CLA), recently put together a half day seminar - Affordable aged care: current issues, innovative solutions and the role of insurance. The half day seminar brought together thought leaders and key decision makers for the first time and generated some innovative 'outside the box' thinking on Aged Care. The event was opened by the Minister for Ageing, The Hon Justine Elliott. In his fascinating presentation, John Walker from RetireInvest Circular Quay outlined a number of real life case studies from his extensive experience in this area. John has worked in the financial services industry since 1984, spending all that time as a financial planner, and is now further developing his working relationships with aged care providers across Sydney.
