Originating in Victoria, the National directory was launched in April 2005 with offices now in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Our web site is supported by a national sales team promoting and marketing the directory in every state of Australia.

Aged Care Vacancy Register
A special feature in our Residential Accommodation section is an interactive Vacancy Register allowing facility owners to promote current permanent/respite vacancies online. This is a free service available to all aged care providers Australia wide. The initiative aims to assist ACAS teams in reducing the time consuming email/telephone network currently being used, and has approximately 400 facilities regularly updating their vacancy status.

Understanding Aged Care
Incorporating a number of interactive features and searchable categories, this section of the site assists people in understanding the industry and what options are available. Our 5 Step Guide has been developed to integrate information on the aged care process and the Service Providers that are available to help people looking into aged care and planning for the future. 'Understanding Aged Care' also includes:

* Aged Care Radio: information and entertainment programs for users to the site;
* News & Events Section: Housing Inside Online, our quarterly newsletter; and
* Discussion Forum: Discussions on industry specific topics.

The website will soon develop further to include 'Managing your Facility' which will enable Aged Care Providers to search for Industry Specific Experts to assist with running their facilities. An employment forum is also due for development in 2008, which will allow providers to promote job vacancies online!

The result of these online marketing efforts has seen the site now exceed 15,000 unique visitors to the site per month, resulting in approximately 170,000 monthly page views, making it one of the industries largest web sites.
