Uniting Mayflower Westmead: Full-steam Ahead for $150 Million Makeover

Uniting has announced that they will develop a state-of-the-art aged care service in Westmead. The project is worth over $150 million, and will include the redevelopment of the residential aged care services currently on site. 

The redevelopment will also include 227 new independent living units and communal indoor and outdoor spaces for residents and their families to enjoy.

Steve Teulan, Director Ageing at Uniting said, “Uniting Mayflower Westmead has long been part of the community. Our team offer innovative programs to enrich the lives of residents each and every day. This redevelopment will allow Uniting to offer contemporary services for the Westmead community well into the future.”

The work will be completed in three stages allowing residential aged care residents to remain in their current accommodation. First works are scheduled to begin  in early 2017.
